Usually, at the diagnosis of a terminal illness, most patients become ruled by that illness. It’s the sad fact. They may no longer be able to live the way they used to. Everything they do must be analyzed with the illness in mind. It can be quite limiting. However, CMyLife (a platform for CML – Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) has started breaking down these barriers. The general idea behind CMyLife is to connect the patient directly to their treatment. They’ll be aware of their treatment progression. They’ll be able to meet other people with CML, leading to a support system. It makes the entire process of treatment more humane. I hope this platform is able to inspire many others!
