There is definitely a need for a flow and process for real innovation to take place as I described in my book “The end of the beginning”. My experience on LinkedIn has shown me that although innovation might be seen as the solution to most or all of our challenges, Culture is still a huge barrier to true success as many people do not see the need of breaking away from the status quo they have grown so comfortable with.

It is always shocking when I realize that after successfully creating a working innovation, the main barrier I encounter is getting past the culture to implement the innovation effectively. I therefore think that innovation teams should create demolition strategies that will focus on getting rid of these old ways and helping people embrace the technological advancements.
