Based on her own experience with nurses during her fight against breast cancer, Carolyn highlights how important, resourceful and useful nurses are not just to their patients but also to the community which they belong to and the nation at large.
I would really love to see the innovations being brought to the healthcare system be more nurse inclusive. It would seem that technology is making their work more complex and technical by the day but nurses do not seem to have a say in what happens in the healthcare system.
