Campaiging for com-passion for care

In our ambition to assist the migration of healthcare into participatory healthcare we’ve encountered a -for me up until then- unknown effect. Young wanna-be doctors start with a great portion of passion with their Medical School, but somewhere on the road the system disrupts this passion.

This video is the START of our campaign that will rally up to April 4th, 2011 at tedxmaastricht.com with a very important step that will be made on that very day at that very spot.

and “my dream for healthcare” : www.tedxmaastricht.nl/2010/05/my-dream-for-healthcare/

Recently (oct 7th, 2010) a great New York Times article addressed the same topic by the hand of Pauline Chen (MD) : nytimes.com/2010/10/07/health/views/07chen.html

Also in this (Dutch) article of a Dutch magazine for Doctors this matter is addressed firmly : http://www.artsenauto.nl/professioneel/co-assistent/Pages/Ikhebvaakgenoeggeda…
